Sandbag Redoubt and Circular Sandbag Barricades re-released

To go with the re-release of my other barricades, I'm now able to offer my previous products with an improved quality. As with my other items, new moulds have been made with degassed silicone, with an improved resin and casting technique.

It comes as a four piece kit, two 'U' shaped sandbag sections and two 'U' shaped firing steps.

A new item made with dioramas and terrain builders in mind, i've produced this set of cast sandbag sections. Different lengths combine to make a total length of 760mm (30") sandbags.

    Thanks for the Sandbag Redoubt, it's a superb terrain piece. I'm very impressed by the quality of the casting.

    For anyone considering the redoubt and wondering about the dimensions, the overall footprint is 15cmx16cm. The sandbag wall is 30mm tall whilst the boxes forming the firing step are 10mm tall. Unbased Foundry, Perry and Empress firing miniatures will all easily clear the parapet wall with their rifles. Empress figures in loading or 'on guard' poses can also present their rifles over the parapet if mounted on 2mm thick bases (minimum).

    If I measured correctly, the interior dimension of the wall is approx 13cmx13cm allowing 18 28mm figures on 20mm circular bases to man the firing step. The remaining ground space is 70mmx80mm, which is enough for a single Rendera bell tent plus flagpole/stores. Though the fact the redoubt comes in two halves allow you to extend the ground space if necessary.
